Yumemira Terms of use

The short version

This website and the Yumemira app for iPhone are provided by KAK Digital LLC (“we”). By using them you agree to these terms. When you get the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence for apps (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) also applies, together with these terms.

What Yumemira is, and is not

Yumemira is a small-steps journal for iPhone: goals with a small daily step, guided sessions such as breathing, meditation, water and focus, a journal and notes, and optional goal pictures made with AI (Pro). It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, it does not predict the future, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Breathing and meditation sessions are a quiet minute for yourself; stop if you feel unwell. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional.

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Yumemira.

Your content

Your goals, journal and notes are yours. They stay on your iPhone and we do not get a copy (see Privacy). Because we do not hold your journal, we cannot bring it back if your iPhone is lost, so keep a backup (Settings › Backup in the app).

Subscriptions

Yumemira is free with one goal at a time. Yumemira Pro adds more, and is an auto-renewing subscription sold by Apple through the App Store: $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year, after a 7-day free trial. Prices in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your country before you pay, and you can cancel any time in your Apple subscriptions.

Free trial

Both plans start with a 7-day free trial for people who can have one; Apple decides who can. The trial’s length and the date of the first payment are shown before you confirm, and nothing is charged when the trial starts. With notifications on, the app reminds you two days before the first payment. Cancel at least a day before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

Renewal and payment

Pro renews by itself, for the same length, until you cancel. Apple charges your Apple Account when the trial ends (or when you buy, if there is no trial) and at each renewal.

Cancelling

Cancel at least a day before Pro renews, in your Apple subscriptions: in the app, Settings › Manage subscription, or in the iPhone’s Settings app, your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app, or Delete all data, does not cancel Pro. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the time you paid for. After that you keep all your goals, notes and everything you made, and you can go on with every goal you have. Starting another goal, Insights, the year view and the other parts of Pro close until you subscribe again.

Refunds and restoring

Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules; ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund App Store purchases ourselves. If Pro is not on after you paid, or on a new iPhone, use Settings › Restore purchases with the same Apple Account.

Other prices and changes

If an offer in the app or an offer code gives you a different price, the App Store shows that price and how long it lasts before you confirm. If the price of Pro changes, Apple tells you before the new price applies, as its rules require, and you can cancel.

Website offers

Offers on yumemira.com, such as the surprise discount, are for new Yumemira Pro subscribers on the yearly plan. They apply to the first year only and are redeemed through the App Store with an offer code, one per Apple Account as Apple allows. After the first year, Pro renews at the regular yearly price until you cancel. The terms that apply are the ones the App Store shows when you redeem.

Goal pictures made with AI

Goal pictures made with AI are optional and part of Pro. They are drawn by an AI service, fal.ai, from the words you give, and each one is labelled Made with AI. They can be imperfect or unexpected; they are not photos of real events or promises of what will happen. Do not describe real people without their permission, or anything you do not have the right to use. There is a daily limit on pictures, and the service can sometimes be unavailable; the rest of Yumemira keeps working.

Fair use

Do not abuse, reverse-engineer or resell the app or its service, and do not use it to make content that harms others.

Changes

We improve the app over time, and we update these terms when something changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or $50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law of your country that cannot be limited.
